Taylor Schumann finally was able to celebrate her first coaching victory, with the Hemlock girls soccer team giving its first-year coach a 2-0 victory Thursday against Alma. Izzy Curry assisted on both Hemlock goals, which were scored by Izzy Krueger and Maycee Vanderwall. It was Vanderwall’s first varsity goal.
