Former India head coach Rahul Dravid, who is currently occupying the same position at the Rajasthan Royals, has said that skipper Sanju Samson and he are on the same page in terms of making decisions for the team, even as reports claim that all is not well within the Rajasthan dressing room.
A video of Samson not being involved in the strategy for the Super Over against the Delhi Capitals made the rounds on social media, sparking a discussion among fans.

In the video, Samson was outside the team huddle in the Rajasthan dugout, where Dravid was speaking to some players.
“I don’t know where these reports are coming from. Sanju and I are on the same page,” Dravid said while speaking at the pre-match press conference.
Rajasthan had to deal with Samson’s injury in the initial stages of their IPL 2025 campaign. Their fortunes seemed to be improving after successive victories over the Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings.
Unfortunately, Rajasthan have gone on to lose three consecutive matches since then.
Dravid and Samson have worked together before when the former was the head of the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and then the head coach of the Indian team.
Dravid assured that Samson, being the skipper, is a crucial part of the captaincy group and has a major say in decision-making.
“The decisions are being made by me and with Sanju Samson being an integral part of that and consultation with our other coaches and our analyst team,” Dravid said.
“No one claims that every decision that even experts make works out and is correct. But I respect the fact, and I am very confident of the team that I have around me, that is supporting me and Sanju in making these decisions,” Dravid added.
RR play their next game against the Lucknow Super Giants on Saturday, April 19 at home.
