Celebrities reacted strongly against the Supreme Court's earlier decision in connection to stray dogs in Delhi-NCR. The order suggested that stray dogs will be picked up within eight weeks and housed in dedicated dog shelters to be set up by the concerned authorities. Now, the new and revised verdict states that the strays will be released in the same areas after proper sterilisation and immunisation. On this matter, Bigg Boss fame Sara Arfeen Khan dropped some truth bombs in an exclusive chat with Telly Talk. Sara Arfeen Khan On SC's Verdict On Stray Dogs Speaking exclusively with us, Sara said, "We're not doing dog versus human here, but somehow it's become an issue of dog versus human beings. I don't know why, if religion wasn't an issue, now they've got another issue to fight about. Why can't we think that we're all on the same team to protect society and community, and dogs are part of that too? The issue isn't about keeping dogs on the streets or removing them; it's about humans and dogs feeling safe and protected, both ways. So, whether you're a dog lover or a civil supporter, I request everyone to come together and raise funds, not just dog lovers. If we can't do that, at least let's create a rule or come up with a solution." Further, she added, "People who don't like dogs or are against them, I'm sorry, they're part of our lives. Dogs aren't safe on the streets either. If you think about it, I've rescued many dogs who've been victims of accidents and cruelty. Every Diwali, you've seen how dogs are tortured with noise. What are we doing about that?" Karan Mehra Supports Stray Dogs After SC's Decision Karan Mehra, popular TV actor, also shared his thoughts on the matter and said, "Through Stars For Strays, we'll reach out to people, create awareness, and have many artists support us and play for our teams (cricket league). It's not about winning; it's about working for them in a way that we can contribute."
