What happened The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) has initiated an independent investigation into the coaching staff of Bay FC, following allegations of a toxic team culture under head coach Albertin Montoya. The probe comes after a Chronicle investigation revealed that several former players and employees described the team's environment as "toxic" during its inaugural season.
