A potential security threat disrupted the Indian cricket teamrsquos routine on Tuesday ahead of the second Test against England at Edgbaston. A suspicious package was discovered at Centenary Square in Birmingham not far from where the Indian team is based. Acting swiftly local authorities cordoned off the area and advised all nearby occupants including Team India to remain indoors. A BCCI source confirmed that the decision was made following police advisories. Training Partially Affected Despite the incident eight players including skipper Shubman Gill attended training at Edgbaston. The remaining squad members were scheduled for a rest day and stayed back at the hotel as a safety measure.
