Australian cricket great David Warner has showcased his silver screen transformation in the trailer for a big-budget Bollywood action movie.
Warner, 38, set social media ablaze on Sunday with his unexpected cameo in the trailer for the heist action-comedy Robinhood.
The veteran opener, who is a beloved figure in India, appears toward the end of the clip looking tough while exiting a red helicopter in a scene that was shot in Melbourne - and bizarrely licking a large lollipop.
Warner then swaggers past a team of armed security heavies before the clip ends.
The cricketer also attended the launch event of the trailer, alongside the actors and filmmakers, and even pulled out some dance moves while on the red carpet.
Warner expressed his joy at being part of the project on social media, writing, 'Indian Cinema, here I come. Excited to be a part of Robinhood. Thoroughly enjoyed shooting for this one. Grand release worldwide on March 28th.'

The film promises a high-octane blend of romance, comedy and action - and Warner's inclusion has generated buzz among cricket fans, too.
'Great to see. Welcome to Indian Cinema,' posted one fan on X.
'David Warner as Robinhood: cricket's grit meets legendary outlaw's daring charm!' replied another.
'David Warner steals the show in Robinhood—cricket star turned movie hero, ready to hit a six on the big screen!' posted a third.
Warner's love for Indian culture is no secret, with the Test star winning hearts in India by showcasing his Bollywood dance moves during the Covid lockdowns.
Unfortunately, he was unsold at this year's Indian Premier League mega auction - but will take part in the upcoming Pakistan Super League, where he will captain the Karachi Kings.

'We have a fantastic line-up and I'm super excited to take on the role of captain this year,' Warner said.
The Aussie star captained the Sydney Thunder to the final of the 2025 BBL after his ban on leadership roles was lifted.
Warner announced his retirement from international cricket in June 2024 after Australia was knocked out of the T20 World Cup.
Earlier this month he was drafted by the London Spirit, who play in The Hundred cricket league in England, which uses a 100-ball format.
