Seventh person charged in connection with vandalism at Trump Turnberry

A seventh person has been arrested and charged following vandalism at US President Donald Trump 's Turnberry golf course. The course was vandalised in the early hours of Saturday, March 8, in an incident which the pro-Palestinian group Palestine Action claimed responsibility for. Reports of damage to buildings and the course itself were made to police at around 4.40am. Following police enquiries, a 27-year-old woman was arrested and charged on Sunday, April 27 in connection with the incident. She was due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court today (Monday, April 28). A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Officers have arrested a seventh person in connection with damage to a golf course and a hotel on Maidens Road, Turnberry. "A 27-year-old woman was arrested and charged in Ayr on Sunday, April 27. "She is due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday, April 28. "The incident occurred on Saturday, March 8."
