Shoaib Akhtar's YouTube channel gets banned in India after Pahalgam incident

The YouTube channel of former Pakistan pacer and broadcaster Shoaib Akhtar was recently banned in India. Following the Pahalgam terror incident, which killed 26 people in the Kashmir valley. Among the 16 channels that the Indian government shut down was Shoaib Akhtar, who is well-known in India for his match analysis and commentary on international cricket. Advertisment Before getting banned in India, Shoaib Akhtar's YouTube channel had 63 million subscribers. Other banned Pakistani news channels include Dawn News, Samaa TV, ARY News, Bol News, Raftar, Geo News, and Suno News. The vice-president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Rajeev Shukla, has previously emphasised that India will not continue to play bilateral matches against Pakistan. The Resistance Front members were responsible for the terrorist act in Pakistan, which Shukla had denounced. Twenty-six innocent visitors were killed when the terrorists opened fire on them. In 2013, India and Pakistan last engaged in a bilateral series. India vs Pakistan matches have only been played in ICC events since that time. Earlier this year, India played all of its Champions Trophy matches in Dubai rather than travelling to Pakistan. Sourav Ganguly, the former captain of India, was one of the well-known speakers in the appeal. However, after the attack, both government bodies started to take action accordingly on the issues. The Pakistani authorities deported 23 Indian nationals who were employed by the Pakistan Super League's production and broadcast crew on April 27. The action was taken as tensions at the two nations' borders and diplomatic ties escalated in recent days. 23 Indian citizens who were in Pakistan for the PSL matches' production and transmission have been sent back, according to a PCB official.
