The Wallabies are not focusing much on their 17-22 upset loss to the Flying Fijians during the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.
This was revealed by France-based lock Will Skelton after he was asked by Stan Sport if they had been discussing about the World Cup loss to Fiji and what they have learned from it.
“Not so much,” Skelton, who had captained the Wallabies to the World Cup in 2023, said.
“It’s being a while and both teams have improved. We’re working on it and it’s another training week for us.
“Then it’s the week for the Fiji game and we’ve to get things rolling on game plan wise.”
The La Rochelle forward indicated that it is things like what to do to attack the Flying Fijians.
“They (Fiji) play week in and week out in Super Rugby and we’ve seen what the Fijian Drua is capable off in terms of results especially in their home games.”
