Mogadishu, April 01 (QNA) - The Somali army announced Tuesday its forces had apprehended 70 Al-Shabaab militants southern the country.
A Ministry of Defense spokesperson said this was part of the recent military operations that inflicted significant losses to the Al Qaeda-linked movement in the Lower and Middle Shabelle regions.
He added the army would press on operations in collaboration with international partners to enhance security and stability in the eastern African nation. (QNA)
