EDINBURGH were bitten late on by the Sharks to lose a thriller at the Hive last night.
Then the South African rugby team celebrated their 18-17 victory in style with a boozy night out in the town at a popular Edinburgh venue tonight.
And they've been taking in the Scottish culture in the capital as some of the players were spotted wearing Scotland football tops and Jimmy Hats for the night out.
The South African side headed to famous venue The Three Sisters to continue the party following the massive win which moved them eight points clear in fourth.
Sean Everitt’s side looked on course to land their fourth win on the bounce.
But Makazole Mapimpi’s try in the dying seconds handed the visitors the win.
And that was a massive blow to the Gunners’ playoff hopes with three games left to play.
The Sharks got off to a flying start when Jordan Hendrikse made a long-range penalty.
It was Edinburgh, though, who landed the first try of the match – and it was a cracker.
Jamie Ritchie got them going with a cheeky offload to Ross Thompson.
The ball went through the hands of Harry Paterson and Tuipulotu before arriving at Lang.
And the centre did the rest with a spectacular diving finish.
Edinburgh had their tails up and Ross McCann looked set to score in the other corner.
But a brilliant tap tackle from Lukhanyo Am denied the winger just before the line.
Edinburgh were on top at this point and soon bagged their second try.
Thompson was brave to take the tackle after finding Ritchie with the pass.
The former Scotland captain kept it going to Matt Currie and continued his run.
And when Currie was stopped there was Ritchie to dot down from close range.
The Sharks had barely had a bite in attack but another Edinburgh penalty kept them in it.
Jordan Hendrikse made no mistake – reducing the deficit to just four points at the break.
It was the Sharks who struck first in the second half to move into the lead.
Am got them going with a burst down the middle before passing for Aphelele Fassi to score.
It then all kicked off at the other end with Am shown a yellow card before players from both sides piled into an all-out brawl.
That saw Eben Etzebeth and Sam Skinner also sent to the bin.
And Edinburgh took advantage of that penalty when Ewan Ashman dived over for their third try.
But Mapimpi and the Sharks had the final say to clinch a thriller – and leave the home fans gutted.
