St. Lucy was first out of the blocks as winners by claiming a 125-run win over St. Joseph in the opening match of the Barbados Community Cricket Programme’s Block T20 League. Playing at Gall Hill, St. John, St. Lucy batted first and was led by their skipper Shamario Depeiza with a knock of 72, inclusive of 6 fours and 4 sixes. Ann-Marie Burke takes a look at that inning.
