St. Lucy was first out of the blocks as winners by claiming a 125-run win over St. Joseph in the opening match of the Barbados Community Cricket Programme’s Block T20 League.
Playing at Gall Hill, St. John, St. Lucy batted first and was led by their skipper Shamario Depeiza with a knock of 72, inclusive of 6 fours and 4 sixes.

In reply, St. Joseph were skittled out for 69 in 12.5 overs.
Recarlo Boyce took 4-9, Rishon Walker 3-7 and Davon Clarke 2-8.
The second match is currently in play at the KMV Oval where hosts St. Andrew are up against St. Peter.
