The iconic luggage brand traveled back to 1988 — exactly 90 years after its founding — for its new Holiday Hand-Carry Case, a limited-edition capsule piece that puts a modern spin on a vintage silhouette. Available in glossy red, yellow and blue, the case ($1,200) boasts an anodized aluminum frame and a polycarbonate shell. The interior features an adjustable mesh divider and compression straps for easy packing. The vibrant travel case is a nod to the German company’s “milestone moment [that] marked the brand’s beginning steps into the 1980s design world of neon brights and electrifying hues,” Rimowa says in a release.
