Strictly star 'joins Channel 4 series' weeks after split from co-star fiancée

Former Strictly Come Dancing hunk Ben Cohen, 46, is reportedly set to tackle the gruelling challenges of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins just weeks after his shock split from his fiancée amid financial troubles.
The rugby legend, who dazzled on the dance floor over a decade ago, is said to be ready for a new TV adventure following a tough period in his personal life.
After the end of his relationship and facing the need to sell their shared home, as well as reportedly grappling with business debts, Ben is apparently looking to dive back into work.
"Ben has had a difficult few months with his split from Kristina, having to sell their home and also dealing with mounting business debts," an insider revealed.
The source continued, explaining that the intense military-style show offers not just a financial boost but also a fresh challenge for the sportsman.
"Celeb SAS is not only a good pay day for him, but it's a new challenge to immerse himself into. Ben is obviously a sportsman and a very physical, competitive player, so if anyone can handle the SAS recruitment process, it's him," they divulged to The Sun.
Reality TV is no stranger to Ben; he first waltzed onto our screens in September 2013 on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing. He later showed off his competitive edge on The Jump's third series in January 2016, where he emerged victorious against Dean Cain in March of the same year.
In 2017, Celebrity Chase fans saw him compete in season 7, episode 8. Fast forward to January 2018, he joined the line-up for And They're Off!, reports the Mirror, racing for Sport Relief donations.
Flashing lights and sizzling dance moves weren't far behind, as Ben strutted his stuff on ITV in December 2023 for The Real Full Monty aimed at cancer awareness.
During his Strictly Come Dancing stint, Ben found love with his dazzling pro partner Kristina Rihanoff. Earlier this year, The Sun spilled the tea on how things turned sour between Ben and Kristina, sealing their split.
They welcomed their daughter Milena into the world in 2016, the same year they bought their home, followed by popping the question in 2022. Yet now, they're parting ways with the family pad.
Former rugby player Ben had called it quits with Abby to fulfil a fairytale with Russian dancer Kristina post-Strictly 2013 showdown. But friends whisper the romance is over, citing money woes as the spoiler.
A source claimed: "Ben left his wife, Abby, for Kristina, only to now split with her. It's like the curse in reverse. This will be like karma for Abby; she was so upset when Ben left her. It's like he has got his comeuppance."
An insider also revealed: "The past six months have been hell for them, and it has torn the love they had apart. For the sake of their family, they have chosen to go forward as separate individuals. Those close to them who know them as a couple had hoped they would be able to work things out, but for now it's over, and it looks like there's no going back."
The couple's troubles started when they ventured into business together, with Kristina also teaching dance. Kristina confessed that they had "invested everything we've ever had" in their venture, Soo Yoga, transforming her fitness passion into a commercial endeavour.
But the pandemic brought significant challenges. Their financial woes came to light last September when Kristina was found driving her £30,000 Audi without insurance in court.
The former pair listed their Northampton property and Ben has stepped down as a director from their shared yoga enterprise. The Daily Mail reports that their five-bedroom Northamptonshire house sold for £1.75 million, marking a substantial increase from the £950,000 they originally paid.
