Bollywood star and Punjab Kings (PBKS) co-owner Preity Zinta wrote a heartfelt message for leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, revealing how she had been his fan for many years and always wanted him at the franchise. She also lauded Chahal’s ‘competitive attitude’ and ‘tough’ skin in difficult moments. Zinta’s post came on X (formerly Twitter) came after Chahal’s best spell of IPL 2025 — a four-wicket haul against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders. The leggie changed the game in the second innings and helped PBKS defend a record-low score of 111 to create history. He took just two wickets in five games in the lead-up to the KKR match and conceded as many as 56 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad. PBKS are currently fourth in the IPL table with four wins and eight points in six matches. Their next two matches in the league are against the third-placed Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Chahal’s old side where he became the bowler he is today.
