However, with Leverkusen in a strong negotiating position and unwilling to accept anything less than top dollar, Milan are forced to explore alternatives while also trying to offload unwanted squad members to raise funds. Arokodare and Jackson among strong alternatives As talks for Boniface prove complicated, Milan are seriously considering a move for another Nigerian international, Tolu Arokodare. The 6’4” Genk striker had a standout season in Belgium, scoring 23 goals and adding 7 assists across all competitions. His €18 million price tag makes him an attractive option in today’s inflated market, and his physical style aligns perfectly with Milan’s desire for a powerful frontman. Meanwhile, Nicolas Jackson is also on Milan’s radar, with reports from Fabrizio Romano confirming Milan’s enquiry. Chelsea are open to parting ways with the Senegalese attacker, though his current price remains a stumbling block. Jackson, who struggled with consistency during his time at Stamford Bridge, could still be handed a fresh start in Serie A if the numbers align.
