Superman has debuted at 91% on Rotten Tomatoes. The ratings were revelaed after the James Gunn movie, starring David Corenswet had its Los Angeles debut this week. It also received a "certified fresh" rating, and currently stands at 86% based on 151 reviews. While the movie has received thumping first reviews from netizens, its score on the aggregator is also worth taking note of. Meanwhile, the film has already managed to beat Gunn's previous Marvel blockbusters, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 (85%) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 (82%). It is higher than even the 2022 film The Batman (85%), the 2018 film Avengers: Infinity War (85%) and the 2005 film Batman Begins (85%). The RT score is however lower than the filmmaker's The Suicide Squad (90%) and the other GOTG title, Guardians of the Galaxy (92%).
