India will begin preparations for the ICC events from the Bangladesh tour, which will follow the ongoing Test series in England. India will kick off the Bangladesh tour with the ODI leg from August 17, while the T20I series will get underway from August 26. The ODI series will mark the return of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who are only active in the 50-over format, having announced their retirement from Test cricket ahead of the tour.
