Kilmarnock striker Bobby Wales is set to join English Championship side Swansea City when his contract expries in the summer. The 19-year-old has impressed for the Rugby Park side this term, netting fives goals in 31 appearances. The Scotland under-21 international has also started 13 of Killie’s last 16 league games as he’s become a regular leading the line for Derek McInnes. But the local lad is set to bring his time at the club to end and after reportedly agreeing a four-year deal with the Swans. According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, posting on X, he wrote: "Swansea have agreed deal to sign Scotland U21 striker Bobby Wales, all done. "Wales will sign a four year deal as he will complete a medical this week. "Kilmarnock will received £300k compensation." Last month, McInnes admitted the club were doing everything they could to tempt the youngster into signing a new deal and suggested Hearts’ James Wilson’s Scotland call-up was proof he could earn senior caps as Killie’s main man in attack. That, however, appears to have been in vain with Wales set to call time on his spell at Rugby Park. Don't miss the latest Ayrshire headlines – sign up to our free daily newsletter here
