Lyncourt, N.Y. — A Syracuse man was arrested after he robbed the same Lyncourt phone store twice, deputies said.
On Tuesday, deputies arrested Daniel J. Becker, 42, of Syracuse, said Tom Newton, a spokesperson for the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office on Tuesday had released photos of a man who was wanted for robbing a Cricket Wireless store with a box cutter at 1826 Teall Ave last week. The robberies were reported at 5:10 p.m. Thursday and 1:20 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies determined Becker was the one who robbed the store, he said. A search warrant led deputies to find a box cutter and clothing he wore during the robberies, Newton said. Deputies are not looking for any other suspects.
Additional charges were brought against Becker by the Syracuse police and State Police, he said.
Becker is being held in the Onondaga County Justice Center jail on 12 charges, including three counts of first-degree robbery according to jail records. He is being held on $100,000 bond or $50,000 cash bail, according to records.
