Highlighting fans' decades-long dedication, their willingness to travel to the shows and sit through a three-hour setlist, Taylor—who also debuted a live Eras Tour performance of her singing "Mirrorball"—added, "It blows my mind. I'm never going to stop being grateful for it, and I appreciate this more than you know."
The award was on the second anniversary of the Eras Tour—which kicked off in Glendale, Arizona, on March 17, 2023—celebrating her discography of nearly 20 years. The Grammy winning artist performed 169 shows across the globe in 51 cities from 2023 to 2024.
At the 100th Eras Tour show in Liverpool on June 13, Taylor took time to commemorate the momentous accomplishment.
“This has definitely been an exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life," the Tortured Poets Department artist said. “It's taken over everything. I think I once had hobbies, but I don't know what they are anymore, because all I do when I'm not onstage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups, and think about what you might want to hear.”
