Team England skip nets session, enjoy golf in Bhubaneswar ahead of Barabati clash against India

Members of Team England including captain Jos Buttler along with the support staff headed to the Bhubaneswar Golf Club on Saturday after reaching the state capital for their clash with Team India at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Sunday February 9.
Sources reported that players like Liam Livingstone Harry Brook Joe Root Ben Duckett Matthew Short and Overton also accompanied Butler for the golf session. The visiting players were seen enjoying the atmosphere and facilities at the golf course during the nearly two-hour-long session.
Notably reports also mentioned that Team England will not head to the Barabati Stadium for a practice session today although Team India may.
Meanwhile members of the Team India squad including Varun Chakravarthy Washington Sundar and Axar Patel headed to the Puri Jagannath Temple this morning to seek blessings after landing at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar on Friday evening.

The players are currently stationed at the Mayfair Lagoon in the state capital where elaborate security and accommodation arrangements have been made in line with Odia hospitality. Along with exclusive suites and lavish greenery a special focus on playersrsquo health has been provided with individually curated meals and millet-based dishes.
Meanwhile state police also carried out mock drills and motorcade sessions while also blanketing the twin cities in heavy security. Special regulations for traffic around the Barabati Stadium and guidelines for crowd management were also released.

The Sunday clash between India and England in Cuttack will be the second of the three-art ODI series where the Rohit Sharma-led side is currently leading by 1-0 following their win at Nagpur on Thursday.
