The nine players who will definitely leave Manchester United next week
@Source: manchestereveningnews.co.uk
Nine players will officially leave Manchester United when their contracts expire on Monday. United issued their retained list earlier this month, confirming who will be released when their deals expire at the end of June. The headline departures from Old Trafford will be Victor Lindelof, Jonny Evans and Christian Eriksen. United confirmed the trio would be leaving the club ahead of submitting their retained list to the Premier League . In addition to Lindelof, Evans and Eriksen , United will also say farewell to six academy players. Goalkeepers Hubert Graczyk, Tom Wooster and Tom Myles were informed they would not be receiving new deals, likewise James Nolan, Sam Murray and Jack Kingdon. Myles, Wooster, Nolan and Kingdon all spent time out on loan last season. Tom Heaton's deal is also due to expire next Monday, but United confirmed at the time of issuing their retained list they were in talks with the veteran shot-stopper over a new deal. As reported by the Manchester Evening News last week, it is understood Heaton, 39, has agreed to sign a new one-year deal. United are in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer, meaning their decision to tie Heaton down to a new deal suggests Altay Bayindir may be sold. Heaton is unlikely to have been retained with a view to being demoted to fourth in the pecking order. Andre Onana has attracted interest from AS Monaco recently but wants to stay at Old Trafford. He is preparing for the forthcoming campaign under the assumption he will remain the club's first-choice goalkeeper.
