Three Best Fits For Buffalo Bills With No. 30 Pick In 2025 NFL Draft
@Source: newsweek.com
The Buffalo Bills boast one of the NFL's most complete rosters. The team is fresh off an AFC Championship Game appearance and has its sights set even higher for 2025.In free agency, the team made some solid signings such as edge-rusher Joey Bosa, wide receiver Joshua Palmer, and defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi.Now, the team will enter the 2025 NFL Draft needing to fill a few specific areas of need. Help for the secondary, another wide receiver, and an addition to the pass-rush likely headline the team's biggest needs.Today, let's try to identify the three prospects who make the most sense for the Bills with the No. 30 pick in the draft.Kenneth Grant, DT, MichiganOne of the most common mock draft selections for the Bills has been defensive lineman Kenneth Grant, and it's easy to see why.Grant is a massive presence on the defensive line who eats space and stuffs runs. The Bills need a player like that next to Ed Oliver on the defensive front.In 2024, Grant racked up 32 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and three sacks. The Michigan product continued to excel against the run, but also flashed some ability as a pass-rusher which could catapult his draft stock.If the defender is still available when the Bills come on the clock, the pick should be a no-brainer.Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&MAnother defensive prospect who would make a ton of sense in Buffalo is edge-rusher Nic Scourton. Scourton transferred to Texas A&M after spending his first two collegiate seasons at Purdue.Scourton handled the switch to tougher competition well, racking up 37 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and five sacks. The defender showcased elite speed off the edge and enough strength to overpower tackles, even at the NFL level.In Buffalo, Scourton could slide into a starting edge role opposite new addition Joey Bosa. Scourton, Bosa, Greg Rousseau and A.J. Epenesa would give the Bills an enviable rotation of pass-rushers.Luther Burden III, WR, MissouriIf the Bills decide not to address the defense, a wide receiver like Luther Burden III could make a ton of sense.The Bills used an earlier pick in 2024 on receiver Keon Coleman, but the position is still an area of need. Burden is an elite route-runner with sure hands who could fit in seamlessly in Buffalo with Josh Allen throwing him passes.In 2024, Burden caught 61 passes for 676 yards and six touchdowns. However, the receiver put up even better numbers in 2023 when he caught 86 passes for 1,212 yards and nine touchdowns.There are some off-field concerns with Burden, but being in a winning atmosphere in Buffalo with not a ton of outside distractions could be the perfect scenario for the talented receiver.
