CONOR MURRAY and wife Joanna toasted their two-year wedding anniversary and "all the years to come" at Adare Manor. The celebrity couple celebrated the landmark day at the glamorous Limerick venue owned by billionaire JP McManus. Both shared photos from the visit to Instagram, including glasses of wine and pints of Guinness and dinner in The Oak Room. There was also a resplendent view of the adjoining golf course which hosts the JP McManus Pro-Am tournament and the 2027 Ryder Cup. In a particularly loving moment, Joanna shared a video of the two clinking glasses of champagne before sharing a loving kiss. Ireland and Munster rugby legend Murray and his former Miss Universe soulmate tied the knot at a luxurious ceremony in June 2023. The happy couple flew themselves and a large group of their family and friends to the Algarve in Portugal for the happy occasion. They flew out to sunny Portugal for a weekend long party, with guests treating themselves to win poolside at the Pine Cliffs resort. When it came to the wedding itself, Murray swaggered in a charcoal grey suit, while Joanna was resplendent in a strapless white dress. Both husband and wife shared photos of them sharing a nuptial kiss, with the Ireland and Munster rugby legend saying: "Best day of our lives! 5/6/23" Meanwhile, Joanna said: "Here’s to forever" Cooper and Murray have been thick as thieves ever since they met during a night out back in 2017 - although it wasn't exactly instant attraction. Speaking to The Independent in 2018, the former Miss Universe Ireland winner laughed when asked if they were instantly drawn towards each other, stating: "I'm not sure if I'd say that." But however it came about, things between them clearly blossomed eventually as it's apparent they now adore one another. They moved in together in 2020 before Murray popped the question in March 2022. The scrum-half is set for a new stage of his rugby career for 2025/26 after leaving Munster. The 36-year-old will continue his club career abroad, while he retired from international duty after the Six Nations. He was one of three Ireland players to hang up the international boots after the Championship - the others being Peter O'Mahony and Cian Healy. O'Mahony and Healy will be retiring outright at the end of the club season, although all three have all been called up by the Barbarians. The Baa Baas will face World Cup holders South Africa at the end of June in an all-star Test in Cape Town.
