Tom Holland was back in the stands to cheer for his favourite tennis players at Wimbledon. On Tuesday, July 8, the Spider-Man actor arrived at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for day nine of the ongoing tournament. He attended the quarter-final match between Carlos Alcaraz and Cameron Norrie with his younger brother. His fiancee, Zendaya, was missing from his side as she decided to give the outing a miss.
The 29-year-old English actor was seen wearing a crisp, baby pink-coloured shirt paired with blue denim jeans, uber-cool sunglasses and a classy watch. In pictures from the match, Tom was seen on the edge of his seat as he watched the match between the reigning champion and the British player. One photo captured the actor standing up from his seat and clapping for the players, whereas in another, he was seen taking a picture with his phone.

Before the match, Tom even met with Carlos during a casual moment at the All England Club. The latter appeared relaxed and cheerful as he greeted the Spider-Man actor. In a video shared by Wimbledon’s official X account, the Spaniard approached the actor and said, “Tom! I saw you playing golf as well. Good swing, good swing, eh?” Reacting to his compliment, Tom offered a friendly challenge to the player, saying, “We should play.” To this, the tennis star replied, “We should play. Yes, yes, we can play whenever you want. Message me and we’ll play.”

His Wimbledon appearance came a day after he attended the British Grand Prix Grid Walk on Monday, July 7, at Silverstone. He was accompanied by former football giant Ian Wright and former English farmer and media personality, Kaleb Cooper. Speaking to Sky Sports presenter Martin Brundle ahead of the British Grand Prix, Tom revealed he came out for the British GP to support the eight-time winner and Ferrari ace, Lewis Hamilton. “I am here for Lewis today.”
Speaking of his work front, the 29-year-old actor was last seen onscreen in the 2022 film Uncharted. Currently, he is gearing up for the release of the action fantasy film The Odyssey, directed by Christopher Nolan. The ensemble cast also features Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, and Jon Bernthal. It is scheduled to hit theatres in 2026. He also has Spider-Man: Brand New Day in the pipeline.
