Tottenham injury update: Heung-min Son, Wilson Odobert and Kevin Danso latest news and return dates
@Source: standard.co.uk
Tottenham’s miserable Premier League campaign continued with a 4-2 loss against Wolves on Sunday.
That is now 17 league defeats this season for Spurs and the performance will have done very little to ease the pressure on Ange Postecoglou.
In truth, all four goals conceded at Molineux were somewhat avoidable as defensive errors from experienced players such as Guglielmo Vicario and Cristian Romero ultimately proved costly.
What the loss does to the confidence ahead of their season-defining Europa League quarter-final second leg with Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany is unclear, given Postecoglou was able to rest a number of key players.
On a positive note, Spurs were able to welcome back Dejan Kulusevski from injury as Postecoglou gears up for the biggest game of his tenure thus far.
With that in mind, here’s a look at the latest Tottenham injury news…
The Tottenham captain missed the game against Wolves after picking up a knock in the first-leg against Frankfurt.
It was the first Premier League fixture in which Heung-min Son had been absent for since October 2024.
The good news is he is expected to be available against Frankfurt.
"Sonny got a knock on his foot so we're being a bit cautious with him,” Postecoglou said.

Like Son, Wilson Odobert also missed the 4-2 loss at Wolves.
Though Postecoglou has made it clear that the Frenchman’s absence was simply down to managing the winger’s minutes following his recent injury lay-off.
"Wilson, we're managing him at the moment," Postecoglou added. "Both should be available for Thursday."

Brought in as cover and competition for Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero during the January transfer window, the Austrian international was yet another victim of Tottenham’s injury woe when he suffered a hamstring injury back in March, during a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.
Kevin Danso is on the comeback trail and could be involved against Frankfurt on Thursday, though he is unlikely to start.
After the 1-1 draw with Frankfurt, Postecoglou said: "It's touch and go. The idea with Deki and Kevin Danso is they are due to start training with the team, if not the end of this week, tomorrow or early next week, I don't think they are a possibility to start but Kulusevski has a chance to be involved."

Fellow defender Radu Dragusin is facing a significant period out of action.
Indeed, the Romania international suffered a serious knee injury in February and has since undergone surgery.
As a result, Dragusin is not expected to return for months.
Potential return date: Unknown
