Tottenham have made contact with Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner about replacing under-fire Ange Postecoglou , according to reports from Germany. Postecoglou is under increasing pressure after leading Spurs to 16 Premier League defeats this season, with his side 14th in the table. Postecoglou's tenure at Spurs looks to be riding on his team's success in the Europa League as they prepare for a crucial quarter-final tie against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday. Should the Australian's side go out of the tournament, it will ramp up the heat on his position and there have been multiple reports the club are looking at alternative options in the dugout. One of those options is said to be Glasner, who has earned admirers for his work at Palace since taking over last year. The Austrian led Palace to a tenth-placed finish last season despite fears of relegation and they are 11th this season. According to German outlet Bild, Tottenham have Glasner on their list of possible replacements for Postecoglou, but they are being rivalled by Red Bull Leipzig - who are seeking a permanent boss after sacking Marco Rose. However, it's claimed Glasner is not interested in returning to Germany - having previously coached at Wolfsburg and Frankfurt, where he won the Europa League in 2021-22. Tottenham would also have the advantage over Leipzig in terms of being able to offer Glasner a much higher salary. Leipzig are spearheaded by former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp , who was appointed head of global soccer for Red Bull last year. Despite Tottenham chasing Glasner, the 50-year-old recently revealed he is set to pay a visit to his former side's hotel in London to wish them good luck against the North London outfit. He said: “I will visit them the day before (the Tottenham game) in their hotel - not the players but of course many of the staff are still working there. I am pretty sure Frankfurt are having a fantastic season, they are positioned third in the Bundesliga and also in the quarter-finals of the Europa League. These games are so important for the club and fans - and I know there will be many at the Spurs stadium. “I really know what a good team Tottenham is and I expect a very good quarter-final with two attacking teams.
