Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) has formally requested that Interior Secretary Doug Burgum study the feasibility of the addition. However, experts and park officials continue to emphasize the structural and philosophical barriers.Ogles Cites Trump’s AchievementsRep. Ogles wrote a letter to Secretary Burgum urging the Department of the Interior to consider expanding the Mount Rushmore National Memorial.
