As Dusan Vlahovic’s future remains uncertain, the Bianconeri are planning ahead to reshape their forward line for the 2024-25 season.
Juventus eyeing Osimhen and Kolo Muani as Vlahovic exit looms
Despite signing Kolo Muani on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in January, Juventus are already working to extend the French striker’s stay in Turin beyond the summer.
With PSG open to letting Kolo Muani leave again, Juventus are hopeful of securing another season-long loan deal, potentially with an option to buy.
Meanwhile, the two-time Champions League winners are still interested in bringing Victor Osimhen to the club.
The Napoli striker, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has a €75 million release clause that will become active in the summer. However, negotiating a deal with Napoli could prove difficult, as the club is reluctant to sell to a direct Serie A rival, and the clause is only active for clubs outside Italy.
Challenges in landing Osimhen from Napoli
While Juventus are keen to land Osimhen, several hurdles stand in their way. Napoli are expected to stick to the €75 million release clause for foreign clubs and are unlikely to entertain negotiations with another Serie A club.
This means Juventus will either have to pay whatever Napoli want or find a creative solution, such as a structured deal or player exchange.
Additionally, competition for Osimhen is expected to be fierce, with several European giants monitoring his situation.
Juventus will need to act quickly and secure the necessary funds, possibly by offloading Vlahovic, to stand a chance of bringing the Nigerian international to Turin.
As the summer transfer window approaches, Juventus’ ambitious striker pursuit will be one of the biggest stories to watch.
