Tyler, the Creator Unveils New Album ‘Don’t Tap the Glass’ Will Release on Monday

Roger Kisby/Getty Images for Netflix After teasing the the release of a new project earlier this week, Tyler, the Creator revealed his next album Don’t Tap the Glass will arrive on Monday. During his show in Brooklyn on Friday night, Tyler reportedly shouted out the album title and outside his concert at Barclays Center there was a massive figure enclosed in a clear box that read “Don’t Tap the Glass.” Variety also confirmed the album’s upcoming drop. A few days prior, the artist hinted that something would be heading to fans next week, with Tyler sharing images on Instagram of a Louis Vuitton bag, a mannequin’s head, and a trumpet player in a band uniform all labeled with the date July 21. Last month, Doechii and Tyler previewed their new Pharrell-produced track “Get Right” during Louis Vuitton’s fashion show in Paris. It’s unclear if the collaboration will appear on Don’t Tap the Glass. Don’t Tap the Glass is set to be Tyler’s ninth album following last year’s Chromakopia. The album featured an hefty list of collaborators including Doechii, Childish Gambino, GloRilla, Lil Wayne, Lola Young, Santigold, Teezo Touchdown, Schoolboy Q, and Sexyy Red.
