Tyreek Hill Takes Massive Shot at Noah Lyles After Backing Out of Race

The long-awaited race between Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill and gold medal Olympian Noah Lyles has officially been called off. Despite his reasoning, Hill took to social media to take a massive shot at the Olympic star.Hill revealed a mashup of Lyles' face on the well-known Homer Simpson meme of the cartoon character retreating into the bushes. Hill posted the results on his social media, revealing that he ran a 10.15-second time.Following the ridiculously fast time, Hill also held up a sign that read, "Noah Lyles could never."Both outstanding athletes have taken barbs at one another on social media since 2024, and the weekend of June 19 was supposed to be the time that the pair lined up. However, that will not come to pass.What is interesting is that Lyles recently ran his fastest 100 meters at the Paris Olympics in 2024. He posted a personal best of 9.79 seconds to walk away with the gold medal.Lyles would have easily beaten Hill with that time if the pair had lined up, but it could be that the Olympian is not in race shape. The next Olympics will not take place until 2028 in Los Angeles, California.Hill, on the other hand, has made it a point to showcase that he has been practicing for his big race. Posting a 10.15-second time is certainly impressive.Hill is also set to start training camp for the Dolphins in the coming weeks, so he might not have a chance to race Lyles until the offseason.
