The PGA Tour wrapped up its two-week stretch in the Lone Star state as Brian Harman won the Valero Texas Open by three shots.It is Harman's fourth PGA Tour win and his first since he won the 2023 Open Championship at Royal Liverpool.He signed for a 3-over 75 to finish at 9-under overall. It was not his best day on the course, but with the challenging conditions, Harman minimized mistakes and held off the rest of the field.The former Georgia Bulldog took home $1,710,000 of the $9.5 million purse and a new pair of cowboy boots, something the tournament awards each winner.Ryan Gerard did not let the conditions affect him as he fired off a 3-under 69 to finish in solo second at 6-under. He earned $1,035,000 this week, almost as much as he earned in his career at $1,775,982. It marks his best finish of the season and second Top 10.Maverick McNealy and Andrew Novak tied for third place at 5-under. Novak struggled on Sunday. He got within reach of Harman but could not close. Novak signed for a 4-over 76, and his two bogeys on 17 and 18 cost him a runner-up finish.
