Vir Das Concludes Mind Fool World Tour With A Thank You Note: ‘I’m Deeply Grateful’

Actor and comedian Vir Das has officially concluded his Mind Fool international tour, which he proudly called “the largest ever world tour a comic from India has ever done.” Marking the milestone, Das shared a heartfelt thank-you note with his global fan base on social media.
“Thank you (heart emoji) #Mindfool was the largest ever world tour a comic from India has ever done. It took everything. I saw the world. If you came and saw me anywhere in it, I’m deeply grateful. I’m gonna chill for a bit and write something you’ve never expected or seen before (sic),” Vira Das shared a post on Instagram. Now that the tour is over, the comedian has hinted at a new project full of surprises.

The Mind Fool Tour: What Was It About?
Vir Das’s reputation on the international stage has been further solidified by the Mind Fool tour, which featured sold-out performances in cities ranging from Sydney to New York, spanning multiple continents. Known for his sharp wit and observational humour, Das used the tour as a platform to showcase Indian comedy to a global audience, forging connections with diverse viewers around the world.
Vir Das made history as the first comedian from India to host the 2024 International Emmy Awards, following his International Emmy win in 2023 for his Netflix special Landing. Beyond stand-up, Vir Das has an impressive body of work across platforms. He has created, produced, and acted in several television series, including ABC’s Whisky Cavalier, Netflix’s Hasmukh, and Amazon’s Jestination Unknown. Most recently, he appeared in the comedy-drama Call Me Bae, starring Ananya Panday.
