Their early Sunday morning arrival drew tight security and a crowd of eager devotees hoping to catch a glimpse of the beloved couple.Kohli, dressed in a traditional cream kurta and adorned with a floral garland, was seen bowing in solemn prayer, embodying a deep moment of devotion. Anushka, serene in a pink salwar suit, stood beside him, her calm presence reflecting quiet grace.Virat Das, a priest at Hanuman Garhi, shared details of their visit: “Both arrived around 9:30 am and spent about 40 to 45 minutes at the temple.” He added that they were warmly welcomed by fellow priests Sanjay Das and Hemant Das.Their spiritual journey continued with a visit to the Ayodhya temple, where they offered prayers and took darshan of Lord Ram. As a gesture of devotion, the couple presented 1.25 kg of ladoos as prasad — a tradition rich with religious significance.The temple’s Mahants conferred their blessings upon the couple, adorning them with sacred garlands in a gesture of honor and reverence. The visit is a reflection of the couple’s consistent spiritual practice, as they are known to frequent holy sites across India, including Vrindavan, seeking divine grace and inner peace.Kohli’s pilgrimage also came on the heels of his retirement from Test cricket, a pivotal moment marking the end of a remarkable chapter in his career.
