Vizag Weather Forecast For DC Vs LSG IPL 2025 Match: Rain To Impact Axar Patel's Captaincy Debut?
@Source: news18.com
Vizag Weather Forecast, IPL 2025: Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), two teams desperate for their first title, who have all but exchanged their star players through the IPL 2025 auction, will go head-to-head in the fourth match of the season at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vizag. It’s the campaign opener for both franchises. Axar Patel will play his first match as the Capitals’ skipper against one of his best friends, Rishabh Pant, who’ll lead LSG after being given their captaincy and a record-breaking 27 crores for the season. There’s a bit of doubt on whether KL Rahul, the former LSG captain, who moved to DC, will play. Though he has joined the squad, his wife, Athiya Shetty, is expecting their first child and there’s a good chance he misses out on the first few games. The ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium is DC’s second home in the IPL. Last season, they played two matches here. In the first, they comfortably beat Chennai Super Kings, but in the second, Kolkata Knight Riders smashed 272 runs against them in the first innings before bowling the batting lineup out for just 166. Against LSG, though, DC found a lot of joy, winning both the home and away matches. ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium Pitch Report The ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam has generally been a batting-friendly ground with the average first innings scores of 167.3. The highest first-innings score here is a whopping 272 which was achieved by Sunrisers Hyderabad only last year — suggesting the pitch has started to produce even better belters in recent times. The average score batting second is 135.7. Toss has so far not played a huge report here in the IPL. In 15 matches, teams batting first have won eight games while the sides fielding first have emerged victorious on seven occasions. DC vs LSG Weather Forecast It’ll likely be a sunny morning in Vizag on match day with a mostly clear evening. Temperatures will hit around 30 degrees. There’s little to no chance of rain disturbing the game, though there can be some dew in the second innings. Winds will be at around 26 km/h with a bit of cloud cover during match timings.
