ANN ARBOR – We are back with yet another edition of the Ann Arbor-area Athlete of the Week poll.
This week’s poll will feature 21 student-athletes who had strong performances from April 28-May 3.
Readers can cast as many votes as they’d like until the poll closes at 9 a.m. on Friday.

Cooper Abla, Whitmore Lake
Abla had six hits, two RBIs and two runs scored on offense and earn a win on Saturday with three strikeouts.
Kaydee Absher, Chelsea
Absher finished the week with 12 hits, seven RBIs and six runs scored in five games.
Jeremiah Bowman, Ann Arbor Greenhills
Bowman led the way for the Gryphons last week with nine hits, a home run, six RBIs and seven runs scored.
Serena Cheng, Ann Arbor Huron
Girls Tennis
Cheng secured two wins in straight sets in the No. 2 singles position last week.
Nate Christian, Chelsea
Christian recorded seven hits and seven RBIs to help the Bulldogs go 4-1 last week.
Ellie Kim, Ann Arbor Greenhills
Girls Tennis
Kim recorded back-to-back victories from her No. 2 singles position in straight sets for the Gryphons last week.
Rachel He, Ann Arbor Pioneer
Girls Tennis
He finished the week with three victories in the No. 1 singles slot for the Pioneers.
Michael Keyes, Ann Arbor Father Gabriel Richard
Keyes shot a 39 to win the dual-meet against Riverview Gabriel Richard.
Nolan Klein, Saline
Klein finished the week with six hits, five RBIs and three runs scored to help Saline go 4-1.
Clara Lamb, Dexter
Lamb earned a win on the mound with six strikeouts against Skyline and finished the week with six hits, six RBIs and five runs scored offensively.
Kaylie Livingston, Whitmore Lake
Girls Track and Field
Livingston won the 1600 and placed second in the 3200 at the Davison Twilight Classic. She also won the 3200 at the MIAC Jamboree.
Jordan Marsh, Saline
Boys Track and Field
Marsh finished first in the discus twice last week, including at the Saline Golden Triangle event (147’0). He also won the shot put in a tri-meet against Pioneer and Skyline.
Kellen McConnell, Dexter
McConnell had six hits, two RBIs and four runs scored for the Dreadnaughts last week.
Debbie McCoy, Dexter
Girls Track and Field
McCoy won the pole vault with a vault of 11’6 at the Farmington Invitational.
Caleb Raymond, Ann Arbor Skyline
Raymond had seven hits, two RBIs and five runs scored at the plate last week and recorded a win with eight strikeouts.
Christina Roberts, Chelsea
Girls Soccer
Roberts scored two goals to help the Bulldogs defeat rival Dexter.
Reese Rupert, Saline
Rupert finished the five-game week with 11 hits, 10 RBIs and a home run for the Hornets.
Alyssa Strickland, Ypsilanti Lincoln
Strickland won two games in the circle and eight strikeouts to go along with nine hits and five RBIs at the plate.
Adam Thanaporn, Ann Arbor Huron
Thanaporn finished first overall after shooting a 40 in a tri-meet.
Ella Varitek, Ann Arbor Father Gabriel Richard
Varitek recorded six hits, four RBIs and two runs scored in two games last week.
Molly Walline, Milan
Girls Soccer
Walline scored two goals to help the Big Reds knock off Monroe Jefferson.
Parker Westcott, Chelsea
Westcott shot a 34 to finish first overall in a tri-meet against Pioneer and Bedford.
