By Obaloluwa Joshua, LAGOS Bayelsa Queens have been drawn in Group B of the WAFU B Women’s Champions League with Ghana’s Police Ladies, Togo’s ASKO, and Sam Nelly of Benin Republic, Prompt News reports. The organisers conducted the draw for the competition in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire on Thursday. Bayelsa Queens won the competition on their maiden appearance in 2022. The Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, champions will be making their second appearance at the annual competition. Hosts Asec Mimosas of Cote d’Ivoire, Niger Republic’s AS Garde, and USFA of Burkina Faso are drawn in Group A. Edo Queens of Nigeria are the defending champions of the competition. The winner of the competition will take part at the 2025 CAF Champions Women’s Champions League.
