Former legendary India batter and one of the top cricket commentators at the moment, Sunil Gavaskar, always keeps hitting the headlines, most of the time for his bold and blunt statements or analyses about the cricket teams and players. Meanwhile, he caught the eyeballs for having a lighter moment in the field before the RCB vs RR game in the ongoing IPL 2025. Advertisment The former batting legend was seen dancing with the IPL"s newly introduced robotic dog, "Champak". The hilarious and amazing scenes were caught on camera at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru before the match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Rajasthan Royals. The video of this amazing moment involving the legend of Sunil Gavaskar"s stature, enjoying a lighter moment, also went viral on social media as soon as IPL shared it on their official X handle (formerly Twitter). Here"s the video: Speaking of the current action of the game, the visiting skipper Riyan Parag won the toss and asked RCB to bat first. Batting first, RCB posted a big total of 205 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Former skipper and the modern-day batting great, Virat Kohli, continued his amazing form, scoring 70 runs off just 42 balls, with eight fours and two sixes. Later, number three batter Devdutt Padikkal also smashed 50 runs off just 27 balls, with 4 fours and three sixes. Tim David and Jitesh Sharma also scored quick 23 and 20 runs off just 15 and 10 balls to help RCB post a 200+ total on the board in the first innings. The veteran pacer Sandeep Sharma scalped 2 wickets for RR in the first innings, alongside a wicket each picked by Jofra Archer and Wanindu Hasaranga. At the time of filling this, RR had scored 26 runs without any loss in just 2 overs while chasing the target of 206 runs in the second innings. Young openers, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi, are there in the middle with individual scores of 23 and 2 runs, respectively.
