A trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the group with associated cloud and rain expected to affect most parts of the group till later today.

The forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group, expect occasional rain, heavy at times and isolated thunderstorms over Yasawa and Mamanuca group, Viti Levu division, Beqa and Vatulele, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups.

Rain gradually easing later today.

Elsewhere, cloudy periods with occasional showers.

Isolated thunderstorms with heavy fall likely.

Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low-lying areas.

Moderate to fresh northeast to southeast winds and moderate to rough seas.

The outlook for Thursday, expect occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms over the greater Suva-Nausori/Tailevu areas, Serua-Namosi, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups, southern Bua and Cakaudrove Provinces.

Elsewhere, cloudy periods with isolated afternoon or evening showers.

Isolated thunderstorms likely with Isolated heavy falls possible.

Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low-lying areas.

Moderate to fresh east to southeasterly winds, moderate to rough seas and moderate easterly swells.
