West Midland police traffic unit seize stolen cars and make several arrests in weekend of action

The team posted pictures of cars stolen by thieves and recovered using police bikes, cars, drones, dogs and a helicopter.
The team tweeted: "C Unit ANPR Interceptors pursued this stolen VW Golf recently which had been used in several burglary offences.
"After a bit of fence hopping and help from WMP Drones one male under arrest and a knife also recovered."
The team also posted: "E Unit #ANPRInterceptors responded to this recently stolen vehicle that travelled into our area.
"Vehicle was located and stopped using pre emptive tactics. Driver was quickly detained, passenger was caught close by with help from @WMPDogs. Two currently in custody."
Even when stolen cars are parked on the street they still can be spotted by the team.
The unit tweeted: "B Unit #ANPRInterceptors located this stolen vehicle parked up Dudley.
"Whoever stole it tried to hide its true identity by changing its number plate and putting a decoy steering wheel lock on. Its now on its way to be examined before being returned to its rightful owner."
