It’s a revolutionary, tech-driven league that completely redefines the sport. Founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy in partnership with the PGA Tour, TGL combines virtual and real-world shot-making in a stadium-style environment. Matches are held inside SoFi Stadium, a custom-built arena in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Each match features two teams of three players competing in Triples (alternate shot) and Singles (head-to-head) across 15 holes. The competition is packed into two-hour, fast-paced action with unique elements like a 40-second shot clock, timeouts and power-ups to enhance team strategy. Points are earned per hole with ties decided by a shootout. The inaugural season of TGL will feature six teams, each playing five matches in the regular season. The top four teams will advance to the playoffs, which include semifinals and championship series.
