What time and TV channel is Edinburgh v Ulster Rugby on in the URC tonight?
@Source: irishmirror.ie
Ulster's season fizzled out badly with last week's loss to Munster and the mission tonight is to avoid a fourth URC defeat in a row to finish off a forgettable campaign. The province heads to Edinburgh with no chance of making the URC play-offs and resigned to Challenge Cup rugby next term. Richie Murphy has had a difficult job on his hands as a lack of investment and a large injury list has played a part in what the head coach has described as a season of underachievement. But, as Andrew Warwick and Kieran Treadwell play their final game for the province, Murphy insists there's more than pride to play for against a side who can still make the play-offs with a victory and results elsewhere falling their way. “This week gives us an opportunity to make sure we sign off on a better note," said Murphy. “So, this is an opportunity, and quite a few lads have been told that. Some lads are trying to get on an Irish tour, so we all need to perform for each other. “It means a lot to us in terms of who we play for and who we represent. So we're looking for one last big effort and try to come out on the right side of it." What time is kick-off? The match kicks off at 7.35pm on Friday What TV channel is it on? It will be shown live on Premier Sports 2 (from 7pm) and will be streamed live on URC.tv Betting odds Edinburgh 1/6 to win, Ulster 4/1 to win, 22/1 draw Edinburgh head coach Sean Everitt said: "Last weekend's gritty victory in Galway was a testament to the resilience and character within this squad, and it provides us with real momentum as we head into tomorrow night's match against Ulster. "The passion and energy of our supporters at Hive Stadium have been incredible, and that atmosphere will be absolutely crucial in driving us forward once again. To be playing in front of third consecutive sell-out crowd will be simply amazing – it underscores the connection we have with our city.
