What to look for in Suns Summer League finale against Trail Blazers
@Source: yardbarker.com
10th overall pick Khaman Maluach hasn’t had a breakout performance yet in Las Vegas. In his first three games, Maluach averaged 10.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks. The lottery pick hasn’t shot the ball well, with zero games shooting above 40% in Summer League. Head coach DeMarre Carroll has stated he wanted Maluach to shoot more 3-pointers and the result hasn’t been pretty.
However, the South Sudan native will face another premier big man in Yang Hansen and could use the matchup to make a statement. At 7’2, Maluach hasn’t dominated the paint as expected but his time will come with more reps.
