ISLAMABAD, Apr 09 (APP):Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP), Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan on Wednesday said the Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Team embodies the spirit of national heroes, inspiring the nation with their remarkable achievements and unwavering dedication to the sport.
During a meeting with the Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket team players, he commended the outstanding accomplishments of the Pakistan Wheelchair Cricket Team, noting that their remarkable performances have earned the country notable recognition and acclaim in the cricketing world.
He also discussed on strategies to advance and promote wheelchair cricket in Pakistan, highlighting efforts to foster growth and inclusivity in the sport.
Rana said the government was trying its best to provide more opportunities for the youth in the field of sports adding that more initiatives were being introduced to support young athletes.
He also announced that the Cricket Talent Hunt trials will be starting soon all across Pakistan to encourage young players through the Digital Youth Hub.
