Dallas possesses a dynamic postseason power play, ranking fourth in the playoffs at 30.4%. They also boast the third-best penalty kill at 86.4%. Jason Robertson has nine power play goals this season.
Goaltender Jake Oettinger has a 4-3 record with a 2.85 goals against average and a brilliant .911 save percentage. Backup Casey DeSmith made an appearance in the third period of Game 4, nabbing 13 of 14 shots with a 3.03 GAA and .929 save percentage.
Hellebuyck vs. Oettinger is box office and will be the spotlight comparison of the series.
It’s the first postseason meeting between the Jets and the Stars. Dallas owns the all-time regular season record, 33-25-2.
