ANN ARBOR -- Donovan Fox was as consistent as they come last week and that helped him earn Ann Arbor-area Athlete of the Week honors. The Whitmore Lake baseball standout showcased his talents at the plate as he tallied 11 hits and three RBIs and displayed his poise on the mound with a save. Those performances helped Fox take home the AOTW award this week in a tightly contested battle. Fox earned 17.94% of the total votes, which surpassed 23,000. He narrowly beat out Dexter soccer player Jillian Lower,who claimed 17.81% of the votes to finish second, while Ann Arbor Pioneer golfer Ryan Boehnke rounded out the top three vote-getters.
