@Source: newsweek.com
Wheel of Fortune fans noticed a contestant looked eerily similar to a well-known historical figure this week.Michael Kroll — a creative writer from Oakland, California — competed on the Wednesday, February 19, episode of the hit game show, and fans went wild comparing his looks to that of the late renowned physicist Albert Einstein.Kroll wore a patterned brown long-sleeve shirt with a black turtleneck underneath. However, it was his long white hair and mustache combo which resembled Einstein's signature look.Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to lament the uncanny resemblance between the two men."I think Albert Einstein came back from the dead and was just on Wheel of Fortune lol 😆," one person wrote on the platform.Another person commented, "Albert Einstein is apparently alive and well. He's also on Wheel of Fortune right now."Other fans drew comparisons between Kroll and famous writer Mark Twain as well as Dr. Emmett Brown from the 1985 Sci-Fi flick Back to the Future."This guy on Wheel of Fortune looks like a cross between Albert Einstein and Mark Twain," someone wrote.A fourth fan posted, "The guy on wheel of Fortune looks like Doc from Back to the Future."On the game show, Kroll competed against Whitney Smith from Florida and Ify Unachukwu, who hailed from California. He came out victorious in the mystery round, correctly solving the puzzle in the "Before & After" category, which earned him $4,600 and a wildcard. Kroll first correctly guessed the letters "S, T, I, E, P, R," but after one wrong guess, Smith and Unachkwu took over. Kroll later came back into the mix, guessing the final two letters, "V, Y," spelling out "Gravy Boat Skipper."Despite correctly solving the mystery round puzzle, Smith proved that she was the genius in the room as her winnings ended up being the highest, as she garnered $67,460.
