Even though I never got to see him play live in whites this gesture would mean the world.rdquo The message quickly resonated with many sparking a growing chorus of support.
The Call for a ldquoWhite Oceanrdquo
The campaign has inspired a wave of fan-generated content with templates posters and even plans to fundraise for distributing white jerseys or T-shirts outside the stadium. ldquoPlain white tees will dordquo the organiser stressed ldquoas long as we show up united in white.rdquo The hope is to turn the traditionally red-dominated Chinnaswamy crowd into a symbolic ldquowhite oceanrdquo paying tribute to Kohlirsquos immense contribution to the Test format.
