The incident happened on Gardiner Street in Dublin 1 at around 7.30pm yesterday. The e-scrambler – an electric-powered bicycle or motorbike – failed to remain at the scene. Advertisement The woman was taken to the Mater Misericordiae Hospital, and later transferred to Beaumont Hospital, to be treated for serious injuries. The road was closed for technical examination, but has since reopened. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. They are particularly appealing to any road users who may have camera footage , including dash-cam footage, and who were travelling in the area between 6.45pm and 7.45pm yesterday evening to make this footage available to them.
